CodeWeavers published to CrossOver Mac 7.0 recently, CrossOver Mac allows you to install many popular Windows applications and games on your Intel OS X Mac todays. CrossOver supports Microsoft Office 2007, Photoshop CS and CS2 releases (Windows releases) with this release. A few bug fixed and general performance increased in this release. CrossOver includes an easy to use, single click interface, which makes installing Windows software simple and fast. Adding new Windows software is easy. Just place your install CD in your Intel Mac, and CrossOver will recognize it and offer to begin the installation process. CrossOver then completes the installation and configures your application to run on your Mac. That’s all there is to it. Most importantly, ActiveX support has been increased for Internet Explorer. So Mac users can enter the e-government web pages without Internet Explorer now.
Intel-based Macintosh system running Mac OS X (note: CrossOver will not run on PowerPC systems), 120 MB of free disk space. Leopard seed 9A377a and later should run CrossOver Mac, although CodeWeavers will not officially support it until it is formally released.
