OpenOffice is the leading open source office software suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and much more. They announced new release of OpenOffice which called Aqua interface at the beginning of this May. Developer team published the OpenOffice 3.0 Beta 2 last day. New release includes many modifications and fixed bugs. Their release notes so long and technical. Its engaged my attention what this release only support the Intel processors. They said that first beta release support only Intel processors now but they published second one, nothing changed yet. Actually, I am scared why OpenOffice doesn’t includes the PowerPC support.
OpenOffice 3.0 Beta 2 is open source office software and requires the Mac OS X 10.4 or higher with Intel processors. I expecting that last release will be came at this Autumn.
