Epson’s Latest Megaplex Projectors Come Equipped With iOS Dock
Epson America has launched a new line of portable projectors called the MegaPlex series.
The series is mainly aimed at turning your mobile Apple device into a 100 inches home theater or business presentation device.
There are two models in the series MegaPlex MG-850HD and MegaPlex MG-50, both the models offer built-in 10W stereo speakers and dock for your iOS devices.
MegaPlex MG-850HD costs $799 and offers 720p high-definition resolution, a built-in mic and 2800 lumens of color.
MegaPlex MG-50 costs $100 less ($699) and offers 540p standard definition resolution and 2200 lumens of color.
The only difference between the two models is the image resolution. While both use 3LCD technology.
Epson says that it is fairly easy for users to connect an iPhone, iPod touch or an iPad in order to watch movies, presentations, and photo collections. The projector can also be connected with any smartphone, tablet, gaming console, PC, etc to enhance the experience.
The MegaPlex series will be availble by the end of September.
