Magic Numpad Magically Turns a Magic Trackpad Into a Number Pad
If you’re an accounting major or an excel user and you yearn to use a numeric keypad, then look no further as the wait is over. Mobee’s Magic Numpad, a temporary adhesive film that attaches to the Magic Trackpad and converts it into an extended numpad, a numpad + trackpad, or a numpad with user customizable keys.
It includes a software that is compatible with Lion and Snow Leopard and can be a useful alternative than spending $49 on a full size wired Apple keyboard. Tho it won’t have the exact tactile feedback as compared to the keyboard but for some users it might be just the thing they’ve been looking for. You can also combine it with the TwelveSouth MagicWand which will convert a wireless keyboard and Magic Trackpad into a full size wireless keyboard.
The film is placed upon the Magic Trackpad. You can use different functions, from directional keys, page up, page down, etc. Each kit comes with three different “key” configuration overlays for you to choose from. One even combines the numeric keyboard and trackpad. There’s also one with several programmable keys, which could make this a pretty convenient accessory.
